Support through sponsorship to processing, marketing and development units of agricultural products
As of 9/4/2024, the electronic portal for the submission of applications under the 2nd Invitation of the “Subsidy Scheme for the Creation, Modernization and Digital Upgrading of Units for the Processing and/or Marketing of Agricultural Products” has opened. The online portal will be open until 31 May 2024 at 11.59 p.m. or until the available budget is exhausted.
The incentives provided by this Plan take the form of financial support for the implementation of specific business plans. The funding, if successfully completed, concerns non-repayable grants of eligible costs.
Beneficiaries of the financial assistance that will be granted through the Scheme are existing and/or new, non problematic Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) that are or will be active in the processing of agricultural products falling under Annex I of the TFEU, except
1. Activities related to the fisheries and aquaculture sectors.
2. Wines and wine vinegar included in Part II of Annex VII to Regulation (EU) 1308/2013
The result of the production process (final product) should necessarily be a product listed in Annex I to the TFEU.
The amount of the grant amounts to 40% of the eligible costs with a maximum grant amount of €40,000.
In the case of businesses established or to be established in mountainous and disadvantaged areas, the amount of the grant will amount to 50% of the eligible costs with a maximum grant amount of €50,000
The eligible costs relate to the categories
- New machinery/ equipment
- Means of transportation of products and raw materials within the production area (forklifts)
- Electronic infrastructures (electronic equipment, servers, computers
- Software systems (e.g. ERP, CRM, HRMS, etc.)
- Expenses for creating a website and / or creating an online store (e-shop).
- Means of transport – The eligibility of the means of transport will be decided according to the activity of the company and the necessity of using a special vehicle
